Database Webinar - November 16, 2010.

Becoming law in March of 2011, the Consumer Product Safety Commission Incident Database will give consumers an opportunity to place adverse effect complaints involving products (even anonymous ones) on a new CPSC  online database.  The CPSC will essentially give a company 10 days to respond to the allegation with their side of the story. This puts the government in between the consumer and the company manufacturing or distributing the product. It will also be a searchable database…e.g.. Plaintiff attorneys, other disgruntled consumers, etc. to see what other complaints against the manufacturer have been identified to support their allegations.

Dr. Rick Kingston addresses the challenges the manufacturers will face managing Adverse Events in this new regulatory environment!
